Fun Water Time!

The belated birthday celebration for my son who turned eight has arrived. We drove up to Grand Wolf Lodge yesterday and will be spending today enjoying water park. It's all indoors so we don't have to worry about beating the heat wave that's hit the Pacific Northwest.

How do you beat the heat if you don't have a/c?

Heat doesn't bother me much.

It sounds like you're going to have fun! Enjoy!

I'll die without a/c. Seriously. I do have an air purifier and several fans that I could use if I didn't have a/c.

Have a great Monday and fun at the water park.

Before I had AC, we used to beat the heat by going to a LOT of movies during the hottest part of the day, eating out and wandering the mall.

Hope you had fun!

Yay birthdays and birthday parties! As for the possibility of no a/c... going to the library, bookstore, mall, etc to soak up the air, public pools, or lots and lots of cold showers. :P

Holy cow! I can't believe your son is eight! Time certainly does fly.

I couldn't cope without a/c.

Heat bothers me terribly! My sister doesn't live too far away and has a swimming pool. Otherwise, a water sprinkler comes in very handy!

I can't deal with the heat. If I didn't have AC I would be sitting front and center to the nearest fan. *G* Either that or an innordinate amount of time at the pool.
Have a great time!

We didn't grow up with A/C or have it for a while after buying our house - we lived down in the gameroom (even slept there some days) and had portable fans. I'd hate to have to go back to that :)

I don't have A/C either... fans and a lot of water keep me alive!

Thanks all! We had a funtastic time. I have to download pics and right a trip report, but have some things to do this morning with the kidlets so it had to wait!

I think we may need lots and lots of water and more fans to survive if the temps stay this hot. Normally it's only a few days we suffer without a/c, but we've already had those.

I'll be blog reading later! Miss you all!
