Leaving on a jet plane

Miss Mousie loves to play!
For my birthday last month, my husband gave me a writing Immersion course in Colorado. I leave today. I've been looking forward this for weeks now!

Of course, I still have my cold and the manuscript isn't finished, but that's okay. Yesterday I found out we've raised enough money for my foster cat Miss Mousie's surgery!

I'm so happy and relieved. That trumps everything else. You can read more about the fundraising here in a post titled Woo-hoo.

I'm not sure what the next few days hold in regards to time. I know I have a lot of work to do for the class, but I also have to write the rest of the manuscript somehow. I'll blog if I can!

Take care!

I'm so relieved you raised enough money. When do you think she'll have her surgery?

Have a good time and please take care of yourself. You know how these conferences spread the crud. You don't want something else while you're in the middle of recovering.

Thanks! She needs to get over her cold first. The regular vet gave her medicine for three weeks. He doesn't want it to turn into something more and complicate things.

I'll take care. It's not a conference but an immersion weekend. Hands on writing. There are only two other people attending. Lots of one-on-one time with Margie Lawson so it should be lots less germs than at a conference. Though there is the flight. LOL!
