More snow and a contest winner...

This is my cat Spirit lying under our Christmas tree. As you can see from all the fur, she's not the only one who likes to nap there. I really need to sweep and vacuum daily with long haired cats and a Norwegian Elkhound!

I took yesterday off. We're still snowed in (it's even worse today) so I just hung out with the family and had fun. Sorry for not announcing this week's free book winner. Here are your random numbers:

This week's free book winner is Marianne. She won with a comment on the post Neglected Kitties. Marianne, please choose one book from the list here. Email me your choice along with your snail address. You can use the contact form on my website.

The last winner rottie_mom chose Kerrelyn Sparks' How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire

I've been snowed in so haven't been able to get out so don't expect anything to be mailed until after Christmas! I'm still trying to figure out how to pick up my order of Christmas cards sitting at Costco. It's not looking good right now!

How's the weather where you are?

Congratualtions Marianne!
It's 34 degrees here this afternoon. My kids want some of your snow. *G* Spirit looks comfy! Do your cats pull off any of the ornaments?

I hope your day goes well! Stay warm and safe!

Melissa, I received the books. Thank you so much. No snow today, but it's very cold.

Congrats Marianne!

My cats love to lay under the tree and all 6 of them leave the ornaments alone! Our high today is 13 and it was 1 last night with a windchill of 20 below. But we didn't get the snow so far so I'm not complaining. My daughter who is in school in Edinboro has had over a foot (3rd or 4th time recently).

Vancouver becomes crippled with just a little snow so we're overwhelmed by the amount we got so far with more to come. Well right now we really deserve the tag the great white north. Not since 1971 has all of Canada been expected to see a white Christmas.

I hope everyone stays warm and stays safe. Happy Holidays!

Congrats Marianna!

Love the pic. It was freezing yesterday, today going up to 70 and warmer of the next few days. The weather is even weird for us here in Houston TX!

Hope you have a wonderful day!
